How to Download Your MotionMuse Video Result File on iPhone
If you use MotionMuse from your iPhone browser, it is not always obvious how to save the generated video to your device. On mobile, the download button hides inside the video popup controls, and if you do not save the file in time, it can disappear.
This guide walks you through the exact steps to download your MotionMuse video to your iPhone, keep it in the Files app, and optionally add it to your Photos gallery.
Why your video can disappear after 24 hours
For privacy and safety, MotionMuse automatically deletes generated videos from its servers after a short time window (usually within 24 hours). This protects your content from being stored longer than necessary, but it also means you can lose videos if you do not download them in time.
Summary: always save your favorite results to your iPhone if you want to keep them long term.
Step 1: Open the Collection tab on your iPhone
- On your iPhone, open your browser (Safari or another browser) and go to the MotionMuse web app.
- Log in to your MotionMuse account.
- In the app interface, tap the Collection tab. This page shows all videos you have generated with your account.
Step 2: Open the video you want to save
- Scroll through your Collection and find the video you want to download.
- Tap on the video thumbnail. The video will open in a popup player on top of the page.
- Wait a second for the video controls to appear at the bottom of the popup.
Step 3: Find the download button in the popup
This is the part that confuses most users on mobile — the download button is not labeled with text, it is only an icon.
- Look at the bottom left area under the video popup.
- You will see several control icons (play, pause, etc.).
- The download button is an arrow pointing downward. Tap this arrow icon once.
What happens when you tap Download
After tapping the arrow icon:
- Your mobile browser will start downloading the video file (usually an MP4).
- On Safari, you will see a small download indicator in the top-right corner of the screen.
- The file will be saved into the Files app on your iPhone, typically in the Downloads folder or the browser’s default downloads folder.
Step 4: Find the video in the Files app
- Close or minimize your browser.
- Open the Files app on your iPhone.
- Go to Browse → On My iPhone or the Downloads folder.
- Look for a recently downloaded MP4 file (often with “motionmuse” or a similar name).
Step 5: (Optional) Save the video to your Photos gallery
If you prefer to keep all videos in the Photos app, you can move the file from Files to Photos:
- In the Files app, tap and hold on the downloaded MotionMuse video.
- Tap Share in the menu that appears.
- Choose Save Video. This will copy the file into your Photos library.
- Open the Photos app and check the Recents album — your MotionMuse video should now be there.
Tips if the download button is not visible
- Make sure the video popup is fully visible and not zoomed in too much.
- Try rotating your iPhone to landscape mode — sometimes the controls are easier to see horizontally.
- Wait a moment after tapping the video so that the control bar appears.
- If the icon still does not show, try closing the popup and opening it again from the Collection tab.
Keep your favorite MotionMuse videos safe
Because MotionMuse automatically deletes generated videos from its servers after a short time window, always download any clips you want to keep permanently.
